FOREST CARBON exists to bring private and public sector organisations together with landowners to create new woodlands that will off-set the carbon emissions caused by economic activity, or to create woodlands simply because they are valuable assets to society.
Despite measures taken by organisations to reduce their carbon emissions, a certain level will always be unavoidable. They can be off-set, however, by the creation of brand new woodlands – woodlands that would not have existed but for the intervention of Forest Carbon and partner organisations looking to invest in forestry to reduce their carbon footprint.
